Any email address will do and doesn’t really matter much, especially if you plan to get a professional email (i.e. hello@yourwebsite.com). Don’t worry about getting a professional email yet, either…Squarespace will even give you your first year of professional email via Google Workspace when you sign up for a paid Squarespace plan!

I suggest using a personal email you already have (or creating a free personal Google email specifically to use with “business”-related things). This way, you’ll always have access to this email address if you decide to cancel any professional/website-specific emails in the future.

You’ll be able to connect this sign-in email and the professional Google Workspace email you’ll actually use to communicate with your audience/clients via this method.

Great! If you already have a Squarespace website and are purchasing a template to add to your current site, please make sure to purchase the add-on install service.

Our process is to add all of the pages of the template to your existing site under “not-linked” section. We’ll ask you to fill out this questionnaire if you already have a Squarespace website so we successfully integrate it to your liking.

If you don’t want or need to purchase an install package and prefer to D-I-Y, your template purchase will show up as a separate website in your Squarespace dashboard. You’ll be able to add content and edit that template to your liking, start a new Squarespace subscription for that site, and move your domain to that website.

NOTE: You currently can’t transfer an existing paid Squarespace plan to another website, even one within your dashboard/account, but you can request a pro-rated refund from Squarespace for your old site.

Either way, we do NOT integrate the template into your already existing content. Meaning, for instance, we do not take the words and photos you already have written and uploaded onto your site and put them into the template pages for you. What you have already on your site and what we install are separate and up to you to edit.

IF you do want this service, please consider purchasing our customized template package (our 2-week website package) and we can include all of your existing content.

Please note that we cannot add our templates into other website builders other than Squarespace (7.1). If you have a website elsewhere, you need to start fresh with Squarespace. See this resource for more info.

If you already purchased a domain somewhere besides Squarespace, the process to transfer your domain can take around a week in some cases. Meaning that your website may not be able to be live with your domain until that transfer is complete.
