Please note that NO returns on Squarespace templates are permitted at this time. PLEASE ensure that you understand this is a Squarespace 7.1 template and is not compatible with other website builders or versions of Squarespace.
After you purchase a template, you'll receive a product email (usually with the subject: Creativity Bias Studio: Order # is Ready). This email contains a PDF with your access information to our Template Editing Guide (contact us if you can’t find the email with this PDF!)
This guide is where you access all of our extra resources, tutorials, videos, and checklists that are included with your template to make your editing and template customization journey a breeze!
Your template will NOT be delivered to you automatically. This delivery process takes a few steps on our end, so don’t fret if you don’t see your template right away. We aim to deliver your template into your Squarespace account portal within 3-5 business days. If you also purchased an install package, this process will take even longer, so please bear with us!
When your template is ready, we’ll email you your unique invitation link to access your new website template.
The template will then be loaded directly into your Squarespace account as a new website (unless you purchased a template install) with a 6-month free trial, giving you plenty of time to work on it before you need to upgrade to a Squarespace subscription (at 20% off!)

Squarespace drag-and-drop platform makes it incredibly easy to edit anything to how you visually like it as well. The best thing about Squarespace is your ability to edit many things in the actual space that they occupy in the final view!
We have experience with Wordpress, Wix, GoDaddy, Shopify, and more.
Squarespace is the BEST in that it's super DIY friendly. You can easily drag and drop and modify anything without needing to code at all! (NOTE: some of our templates do come with custom CSS, which we’ll teach you how to use and edit in our resources)
When you purchase a Squarespace template you get immediate access to our personalized video instructions that teach you everything you need to know about how to use Squarespace, so you feel confident and excited to customize your template, NO prior experience required!
In order to continue to use your website template (and make it public), you will need to upgrade to a paid Squarespace subscription plan.
The Basic and Core plans are great to start out on if you have a new business!

You may also get a free year of Google Workspace (this is what can get you a professional email address, ie: hello@yourwebsitedomain.com) with an annual Business/Core plan!

Any email address will do and doesn’t really matter much, especially if you plan to get a professional email (i.e. hello@yourwebsite.com). Don’t worry about getting a professional email yet, either…Squarespace will even give you your first year of professional email via Google Workspace when you sign up for a paid Squarespace plan!
I suggest using a personal email you already have (or creating a free personal Google email specifically to use with “business”-related things). This way, you’ll always have access to this email address if you decide to cancel any professional/website-specific emails in the future.
You’ll be able to connect this sign-in email and the professional Google Workspace email you’ll actually use to communicate with your audience/clients via this method.
Great! If you already have a Squarespace website and are purchasing a template to add to your current site, please make sure to purchase the add-on install service.
Our process is to add all of the pages of the template to your existing site under “not-linked” section. We’ll ask you to fill out this questionnaire if you already have a Squarespace website so we successfully integrate it to your liking.
If you don’t want or need to purchase an install package and prefer to D-I-Y, your template purchase will show up as a separate website in your Squarespace dashboard. You’ll be able to add content and edit that template to your liking, start a new Squarespace subscription for that site, and move your domain to that website.
NOTE: You currently can’t transfer an existing paid Squarespace plan to another website, even one within your dashboard/account, but you can request a pro-rated refund from Squarespace for your old site.
Either way, we do NOT integrate the template into your already existing content. Meaning, for instance, we do not take the words and photos you already have written and uploaded onto your site and put them into the template pages for you. What you have already on your site and what we install are separate and up to you to edit.
IF you do want this service, please consider purchasing our customized template package (our 2-week website package) and we can include all of your existing content.
If you already purchased a template, then decide to have us design your website for you, use the discount code given to you within your Squarespace template editing guide when you purchase your customized template package in order to get your template for free.
Please note that we cannot add our templates into other website builders other than Squarespace (7.1). If you have a website elsewhere, you need to start fresh with Squarespace. See this resource for more info.
Please bear with us, installing a template into an existing site can be more time consuming than providing you with a template from scratch.

Just a Squarespace login is necessary to get started!
You don’t need a domain and/or Squarespace paid plan before buying a template, and actually we recommend waiting on purchasing these if you haven’t already because we give you an extended free trial and 20% discount!
We can start to build your website without your specific domain and you can purchase and connect your own domain afterwards using this guide.
DON’T purchase a Squarespace paid plan before we deliver you your template if you haven’t already - we can get you 20% off your annual plan as a web design customer!
Also - bonus thing to note - if you don’t have a Squarespace plan OR a domain yet, it can be a good idea to wait to purchase your domain until after purchasing your Squarespace plan because it will come with a free domain for one year! If you already purchased a domain with Squarespace and then sign up for an annual Squarespace subscription billing plan within a year of your domain purchase, contact Squarespace for a retroactive application of their free domain offer.
If you already purchased a domain somewhere besides Squarespace, the process to transfer your domain can take around a week in some cases. Meaning that your website may not be able to be live with your domain until that transfer is complete. If that’s important to you, make sure you leave enough time for your domain to be transferred to Squarespace before your desired launch date. See this resource on how to transfer domains.
