General Template Policies

& Template Ownership Terms

We will always do our best to have your template sent within 5 business days. In the event of unlikely and unforeseen circumstances, we can’t 100% guarantee that time frame. Please email us if it has been over 5 business days since your purchase occurred and we will make it right ASAP!

Once the template is added into your account, it is no longer ours and is your responsibility to add your content and edit the site. If you make any accidental changes to the template we cannot return to the site and reverse them.

If you do make accidental changes to your template or if you don’t accept the invitation to your new template within 6 months of purchase and your free trial expires, you will have to repurchase the template if you want it again. We highly recommend duplicating the website (in your Squarespace portal) and/or making a copy of every page of the template when you first get it, put those copied pages in your “not linked” section, to save the original pages as back up in case you make accidental changes or want to start fresh.

Remember that your template purchase comes with a 6 month free trial to Squarespace - if you let this free trial run out, Squarespace will mark your website for deletion. If your website gets deleted and you want the template resent, you will have to repurchase the template for us to deliver it to you. Make sure your trial doesn’t run out by asking Squarespace support for a trial extension, or upgrading your site to a paid plan.

Refunds &
Returns

Due to the digital nature and duplicability of these templates, NO RETURNS will be issued for our Squarespace website templates. Please ensure that you are purchasing the correct template, that you understand that it is only a Squarespace 7.1 (or otherwise specified) template and is NOT compatible with another web host or Squarespace 7.0. Any new Squarespace account is currently 7.1, which is compatible.

If you’re unsure if our templates are compatible with your desired use, or other questions, please do not hesitate to email us.

Tech & Support

Your template purchase comes with the following support included, valid for 3 months from the date of your purchase. Any support desired after this time frame or for support beyond these types of support at any time will be at an extra cost or purchase of an additional program or course, if offered.

We are happy to help you with support relating to: the specific functionality of and elements of the template itself, as well as any custom code support (limited to only CSS/code that is included with the template you purchased).

Your template purchase does not include support with: other Squarespace features, other software or programs (Ex: email marketing integration), custom code other than the CSS provided with your specific template, business advice, etc.

We offer support via email and we aim to respond within 3 business days, though this time frame may vary due to potential unforeseen circumstances. Visit our Template Support page for more information and to submit a support ticket.

If your support request falls outside of our support policy as specified above, we can offer additional support at a rate of $70+/hour. Please email us to inquire if you desire these services.

Licensing

By purchasing a template, you agree to our copyright and licensing information:

Each Squarespace Template purchase comes with an unlimited license, meaning that you can use it as many times as you want to on as many different websites as you want to. 1 template purchase = unlimited websites.

BUT you are prohibited from claiming or promoting these designs as solely your own.

You can purchase a template to use as a starting place as a design for a client, but you may not resell the design or claim the design as your own.

You may not share, for free or paid, the template, graphics, files or any design elements provided in your purchase.

Any photography provided with the template is for demonstration purposes only and used with single use permission. You must replace these photographs with your own images. We hold no liability for any image licensing or copyright issues that may occur through your unlawful use of the supplied images.

These templates are copyrighted by Creativity Bias LLC and Creativity Bias Studios owns the rights to all designs and files (excluding any photography and graphics in Canva) included in your purchase and design.

Please note that your completed website may be used in our template showcase, sales pages or on our social media for demonstration and promotion purposes.

Web Design Policies

Tech & Support

Your web design (“2-week website” or “custom web design”) purchase comes with the following support included, valid for 2 weeks from the date your web design build is complete. Any support desired after this time frame or for support beyond these types of support at any time will be at an extra cost or purchase of an additional program or course, if offered.

We are happy to help you with support relating to: Anything related to the functionality of your website or how to modify certain aspects. Please note, this does not imply we are able to edit or modify your site ourselves, but instead will instruct, guide, or refer you to resources to complete this on your own.

Your template purchase does not include support with: business coaching or advice

We offer support via email and/or pre-recorded video and we aim to respond within 3 business days, though this time frame may vary due to potential unforeseen circumstances.

If your support request falls outside of our support policy as specified above, we can offer additional support at a rate of $70+/hour. Please email us to inquire if you desire these services.

Refunds &
Returns

Refunds are only permitted prior to your build date being confirmed by both parties via email.

If you are not ready for your site build when we are scheduled to commence, NO refunds are permitted. We will reschedule your build for our next available date for an additional fee or build your site as scheduled, but with the resources you currently have provided us.
