  • We currently are exclusively using Squarespace to build client sites. Although I have experience with Wordpress, Wix, Show It, and GoDaddy, Squarespace seems to be the best option for my clients to continue to update and maintain their own websites with ease.

    Squarespace does not have external or self-hosted capabilities, so you do not have to worry about separate hosting fees.

    • Squarespace subscription fee ~$100-$300 per year

    • Domain name currently included for free for 1 year with new Squarespace subscription

    • Professional/business email currently included for free for 1 year with new Squarespace subscription

    • Email newsletter provider (there are some free options we can tell you about)

    • Any lawyer fees, template fees, or software fees like termageddon to help you craft your website legal pages: privacy policy, terms and conditions, etc.

    • Any additional formatting or creation of extra pages; copywriting service; stock photo curation will be subject to an additional fee (please inquire)

  • In order to continue to use your website template (and make it public), you will need to upgrade to a paid Squarespace subscription plan.

    The Basic and Core plans are great to start out on if you have a new business!

    Tip! You can qualify for a free domain for your first year through Squarespace when purchasing an annual subscription

  • We have experience with Wordpress, Wix, GoDaddy, Shopify, and more.

    Squarespace is the BEST in that it's super DIY friendly. You can easily drag and drop and modify anything without needing to code at all! (NOTE: some of our templates do come with custom CSS, which we’ll teach you how to use and edit in our resources)

    When you purchase a Squarespace template you get immediate access to our personalized video instructions that teach you everything you need to know about how to use Squarespace, so you feel confident and excited to customize your template, NO prior experience required!

  • Tip! You can qualify for a free domain for your first year through Squarespace when purchasing an annual subscription

    You may also get a free year of Google Workspace (this is what can get you a professional email address, ie: hello@yourwebsitedomain.com) with an annual Business/Core plan!

  • I want very much to meet you where you’re at and work on things that are truly important to YOU.

    As an occupational therapist with additional education in regards to nervous system function, polyvagal theory, and coaching in general, I aim to holistically support you throughout this whole process.

    That being said, this is the general expected structure of our pre- and post-design together:

    🌿 6 weekly asynchronous check-ins:

    • Typically 4 weeks before and 2 weeks after your build week (flexible)

    • Opportunity to ask me anything business, nervous system, mindset, website related at any time, and I’ll check in and respond at least 1x week

    • Plus daily check-ins during your website build week

    🌿 PLUS 3 support calls

    • Alternatively, can be completed as additonal asychronous check-ins and pre-recorded video and audio guidance if you prefer

    • 1-hr nervous system/mindset coaching & business strategy call

    • 1-hr branding and pre-design call

    • 1 launch + lesson call (launch your website + learn how to use Squarespace)

  • Great! You can still feel free to purchase this design package, but may want to consider a custom website redesign, depending on your needs and how long you’ve been in business to get the most out of your investment. Please contact us or fill out an inquiry form to let us know your situation and for more information.

  • If you already purchased a domain somewhere besides Squarespace, the process to transfer your domain can take around a week in some cases. Meaning that your website may not be able to be live with your domain until that transfer is complete. If that’s important to you, make sure you leave enough time for your domain to be transferred to Squarespace before your desired launch date. See this resource on how to transfer domains.

    If you don’t have a Squarespace plan OR a domain yet, it can be a good idea to wait to purchase your domain until after purchasing Squarespace plan because it will come with a free domain for one year! If you already purchased a domain with Squarespace, and then purchase a Squarespace website subscription, Squarespace says “If you sign up for an annual billing plan within one year of registering your domain, contact them for a retroactive application of the free domain offer."
